Default LOTS of electrical problems.

Hey,

I recently aquired a 1989 Pontiac Bonneville SSE. It runs just fine, but I am expeirience MAJOR electric problems.

Anyway, here is a rundown of whats going on. When I got the car it wouldn't start without a boost. I replaced the battery, and now it starts fine and the voltage is kept high. The engine runs great, brakes are great and it doesn't leak any fluids.

What isn't working now:

1. Driver window won't go down.
2. Rear Driver window occaisionally works, but is currently stuck down.
3. Rear Passenger window won't go down.
4. Front passenger window goes up and down very slowly.
5. Most Seat adjustments don't work.

The moon roof works fine, as well as the air, fan, heat, and other electrical equipment. I have checked the fuses and there is no problem there. Does anyone have any ideas why these things aren't functioning?

Thanks!

Are all window motors compatable with out 87-91 bonne'*? or do we have to have one for an H-body, or just for bonneville'*?, or specifically for our years? I am looking to find a good deal on replacing my 3 in/minute window motors, but I don't want to spend a whole lot of money as always

87-91 Bonneville power windows are notoriously slow, and they only get worse with age

My passenger-rear window is a bit stubborn, it takes some pushing and coaxing to get it to go up.

And my power seats are just about in the same state - no way I'm able to recline the front seats.

Could you interchange the motors. My dads 94 buick park ave '* are amazingly fast, could they be swapped with ours? Or is it year type specific only?

I think i'll wait on ebay.

So 92-99 bonne window motors are compatable with 87-91? If they are, I think meh is gonna pick some up while I have some money .
