Anyone interested in lowering springs? I can get a set for your car for 249.00 if there is enough interest. The cost for individual kits otherwise is $500.00 that’s US dollars. I also have the ability to get a few more goodies for you but there has to be enough interest.

How many people who post here have a 87-91 Bonny? It's so quiet in here I guess there can't be many hehe. Anyways, what are the most common problems that u have had with your car? Personally I have only had my 90 SSE for 4 months now and so far I've replaced the alt, and fuel pump. But other then that the car runs and drives great! L8r...Andru.

Hey good to know there are some performance parts out there for this style of Bonny. Unfortunately for me the motor just went in mine a couple of weeks ago so it's going to cost me about $1000 cdn. to get a used one put in. So much for having mod money!

What size were u thinking of? A lower profile and slightly wider tire would improve handling for sure. But depending on how much of a smaller diameter the tire is the car might take on a little bit of a 4x4 look. The speedo will also be a little bit off. Bottom line is just like almost everything else there are pro's and con's, hope this helps...L8r...Andru.

Would low profile tires look good on a '90 SSE without lowering it?

Would low porfile tires look good on a '90 SSE without lowering it?

Got an 89 SSE-and I love it!1 Has a few problems tho. bought it last year w/around 89,000 miles--of all places-from a junkyard!!!
How do you post pics here? Don't have any on the web.

I have an 89 LE :)

Gonna turn it into a sleeper sometime in the future, probably years in the future, ith a SC motor conversion.

I am planning on going with 16 inch wheels from a newer bonne and most likely 245/50 R16 tires. I am going to get one of these tires and have it mounted to see what kind of clearence and look issues I have. If there are too many problems I will go to 235/50 R16's.

Speedguy I would be somewhat intrested in the lowered springs but I don't hav the money to pay for that now and most likely won't for sometime.

I would be more interseted in the coil overs, probably a stage 1 kit, since I still have the original struts on my car and they are shot all to hell.
