Default Beeping noise???

M car makes wierd beeps, like the sound it makes when your low on fuel except that nothing comes up on the DIC. Everytime a big 18 wheeler drives by in the oncoming lane, the gust of wind makes it beep. Is there any reason why it would do this? it only happens when a big truck drives past... this might be more obvious, but I took my car out for a spirited run to 185km/h last weekend (in 3rd cuz i dont have 4 or OD; at yellow line on tach) and above 170 or so it beeps in the same way every 3 seconds. Is this a high speed warning or is my car just unsure of itself???

Man the strange things that can go wrong with these cars...sorry if this a little off-topic, but how long would you say it took to get up to 185km/h? The fastest I've ever gone was probably 130km/h-140km/h.

The hood thing didnt show up on the dic... so how should i adjust the hood sensor, it looks like it just clips in? I wasnt keeping track of how long it took to get that fast, but i know that it was quite a while. My buddy has a POS sunfire and we got a little daring, he smoked me :(:(

I meant the hood. Adjust its stops. Or just unhook the sensor and see if the beep goes away.
