Default turn signal not working help?

just bought a 1988 bonneville with only 116k and the price was right. but the turn signals dash light climate control or radio dont work. but out of habit i hit the turn signals when making a turn and just the other day it worked but then stopped working again but the emergency flashers now still work. any suggestions

i would go out with a meter and follow the path, check the fuse, check the blue wire to the flasher for 12v, etc...

Check all fuses. Check all external bulbs. Change the flasher.
