Default Wonky Hood-Camber problem

I have noticed this since the day I got the car, but never had any explanation for it. I'm not sure if this is typical on 87-91 models...but....on my car, the passenger side of the front hood about half way up has a very strange convex bow to it. Almost like a camber, if you look straight on from the side, it doesn't align flush with the fender.

My neighbour has a 91 SE and his hood does the exact same thing in the exact same place!! Do any of you guys have the same thing?

I will take a picture tonight and post it....in case you are confused

Cool...its a common thing then, I'll post up the pics tonight after I go out. Busy night tonight, I'll get to it tho. I wonder if anyone has a solution or a reason why it happens

I never heard of that before. But my first 3800 was an '87 LeSabe and that had the clam-shell hood.

With a tree while in a 4-wheel drift at 85mph. Works very well. No need to even open the hood.
