Default 1990 v8 bonneville

any body ever seen a rear wheel drive v8 conversion done to a bonneville? im really considering doing this.i realize all the cutting and custom fab work that would have to be done, ive helped on projects like this before.just never o a bonneville,i have a 1990 bonne just wating for this to be done.i keep seeing all these ford focuses with 305 v8s in them so i know if its possible to do that to a car that small it can be done to a bonne.if you know of a site or anything please let me know.

I'd say right off the bat, you have more room to work with than a focus does. Small block and good GM rear end should be cheaper, too.

You thinking manual, or stick with the auto? A clutch conversion would add alot of work, but an Auto might be an easy thing. A custom linkage should do it.

Now were talkin! I got a couple ideas....
4.3V-6 RWD, get freaky & add a turbo or two! It would be a tad shorter than the V-8, I would think that would help a lot unless your planning on moving the engine back further in the chassis. A LS1 would look wicked in there though & be more "stealthy" though. Sticking with a Pontiac motor would be cool, but they are all huge.

well these are pretty much my plans right here,im probably goinna start out with a stock carburated 350, (tight on money), either a 700r4 or 350 turbo tranny.but after much though i figured i would probably have to do a custom 4 link set up in the rear.and for sure a posi rear end,but im not sure which one.Just to let everyone know this isnt a for sure thing, depends what kind of money im gonna have in the next few weeks.
