I am interested in the heads and LIM. You said i needed to use 94+ rockers on your heads. Are'nt those the ZZP rockers ? What did you do to the upper intake or can i use the 92 intake i have. As a note i dont like using used bolts on heads and the like. Would'nt want to lose a motor over 2 or 3 dollars. Really really don't like leaks either.

I pored my LIM. Yours should work too though. As for the 94+ rockers, re-read my post. ZZP'* rockers for the Series 1 3800 are $375. Those are roller fulcrum and roller tip aluminum rockers. From the factory, these heads came with roller fulcrum stamped steel rockers. You can get them off a junkyard car.

And yes, you do need new head bolts as they're torque to yield.

I meant to say i would not use, used, head bolts. Let me know ahead of time the total you would need so i can get the money out to you before ship.
And do think the LIM porting makes a diff. As long as your not going to be re-using yours i might as well. I re-read ZZP modified rockers. But you already said hi lift rockrs are not worth the money. They do not say what series eng. Just that they mod them. Again not looking to go crazy. I'll be going out to the u-pull when the heat comes down 10-20 . Not just for the rockers of course.

There is only one set of rockers for the Series 1 motor on ZZP and they specifically state that its for the Series 1 3800. All others are for the series 2'*.

I'll see what I can do about the heads. My car has an engine swap in progress that should be done by the 9th of September. I'll bring the car back at that time. The guy who is doing the swap might not feel like putting in the time to box up and ship those heads, so I might have to ship them out myself when I get the car back. PM me your address and I can try to get you an accurate quote.

I looked for a 92-99 Bonne and was always a little slow on the draw or too far away. I did get a supercharged 99 Regal GS though. Did'nt know what all the buzz was about untill i stepped on it.Really fast and no lag.Now i'm sorry i never got into swapping one into my 90. I've seen running one from gen I to gen II whole cars for about 600 running well as donners. Of course money was an issue at the time. Now it'* time and not money.

Extreme did you get your swap done ? How did it come out. Quess you never got your ported heads back ?
Another quesstion is are the 94-95 heads better than the 92 heads ? Is it just the roller rockers or are they higer lift too.

I've been reading alot of posts lately and have found people that have done this already. The TB does bolt on. You need the injectors and fuel rail also.
