Our '90 SE with approx 135,000 miles is acting strange. On moderate right hand turns (long 35-45 mph turn) it feels like the back end is suddenly shifting as when you drift the back end a bit except the speed is way too low for that. My perception (I used to race SCCA) is that it is the back end but wife says it is the front.

I have looked at all of the bushings and bars at both ends of the car and while everything looks fine, nothing is being loaded when examined.

Has anyone heard of this before or have any suggestions on how to find the problem ?

Tires? Have you tried rotating them?

Also check the tire pressure.

Never heard of anything like that... But maybe the hub has worn a wider track and are shifting?

Default links

the front lower a frames have a stabilizer link that tends to snap with age.
Check that they are still there. Its like a 6 " dogbone on each side.
