Default Trans physical mounting locations 4T60 vs 4T60-E

First I have to say I love the forum. I've been surfing from work as a guest for a while.
To the point now. I'm trying to confirm that the 4T60-E will drop right in my 91 with minimal headaches. My plan is to transplant a L26-4T60-E from a 91 to 94 Caddy. I've seen it done to a Fiero, 4.9L V8 pretty sweet.
I am aware of the extra weight & electronic issues but I cann't find info to confirm the physical mounting locations.

Any links would be great.

I can get you a connection to talk with who knows this area like the back of his hand.

Drop me a e-mail and I will give you a number to call. I will need to talk to you first.

E-mail me.

Count on Ty for the mount locations, but I believe they're the same for both.

Also count on getting the donor motor, trans, and entire wiring harness including the PCM if you want that E to work for you.

Thanks Guys, I'm glad there is someone to bounce these ideas off of. I haven't found any one in the Toronto area that does domestic mods that I can go talk to.
Drop me a e-mail and I will give you a number to call. I will need to talk to you first. E-mail me. Ty
I will be in touch for springs for sure. We chatted already once about a 2" drop for my car.
Thanks again guys.

What part of Canada?

I know people and good shops in many areas.

Also I have shops that I can send product to at next to no cost so you are not charged taxes or the ugly GST.

I'm in a very small town but about 45 minutes North of Toronto. The closest major cities are Barrie & Newmarket Ontario

Jaxxman, another thing that would really help us out, in order to help you : is to put your location (something specific) in your profile and the model, year and trim level of your Bonneville in you Signature area.

Makes things way easier to share information

Here is where I'm at so far.
By the way, where can you get more info that jr's3800 mentioned?
If you want to use a 4T60-E in that bonneville, I'd get the 2.97 or 3.06 Ratio...

I would try to contact salvage yard or tranny shops. The 3.06 geared tranny is found in SSE Bonnevilles (if my memory serves me correctly). If you can drop in a tranny from an SSE, you're laughing. But you have to have the floor mounted shifter, I assume you have the floor mount?
