Yeah I would assume that they are the same. Otherwise it would have been a customer preforance? And I have never heard of a choice of gear ratio'* for Bonnevilles. Thanks DeathRat.

The Series I engines & 4T60-E Trans have different Final Drive Ratios & so does the Series II & 4T65-E Trans.

Deathrat, i was wondering if there is an easy way to fix my gauges for an 88. my tach is horribly wrong and some lights and the systems monitor dont work. i had a mechanic estimate about $300 to fix, but that is pricy.

Easy NO! Cheap YES! There is a couple places out there that fix clusters. There is one on the East Coast of the USA that was very cheap. I can't remember that company'* name right now, but I'll look into it.

thnx for looking into that for me.

it would help to have a working tach when racing. it sux when the tach is pinned to the gas gauge and the speedometer is touching the overdrive D. its hard to tell just how bad im beating on the car. i also ifnd it funny how i can be going 80 mph down the highway and open up the door and the system light wont come on.

would it be possible to put a console from an 89 (with a speedometer that goes to 120mpg) in an 88.

Default swap

I wanted to swap my '88 LE dash for the '88 SSE dash
but I have had no time to research this
So I was wondering if the person who wanted to swap the '88 dash for a '89 dash has found out any info
(I felt when I wrote the last p0st)
