Default CV Joint

At slow speed full lock turns am getting a groan/clicking from the passenger side (almost sounds like bound suspension springs). Is this what a worn C-V joint sounds like ? (Never heard one before). Only thing I can think of.

If so, any tricks for removing ? Have heard they can be stubborn.

Clicking when turning the wheel is one of the signs that your outer CV joint could be starting to go bad. I've never replaced any of my CV joints but it looks like it would be easier just to replace the half shaft instead of trying to repir one CV joint.

Default joint

I once changed the boot cleaned the joint and it started clicking on a hard right.
This is with new grease and boot. Left it alone and it never got worse.
As long as you didn't press the gas too hard it didn't click around the corner.
If your boot is ripped definitly change it. Check by turning the wheel all the way
and look inside wheel to check.
Sometimes its better to get the rebuilt halfshaft.
