Default dirt cheap way to make more noise

i am always strapped for cash, but i want a little louder bonnie (91 SSE). this guy at work has a sunbird and it was louder than mine so i'm jelous (it was really deep), it shouldn't be that way. is there a cheap way to make it louder and keep the stock sound, i like it, but not damage anything in the process?

also, if i was to splurge for a new muffler, would it still have that sexy early model bonneville sound??

You need clips of Jim'* Magnaflow from his old Bonnie. That'* the sweetest sounding 87-91 we've had here. Bar none.

Actually mine is better, LOL

I also went with a magnaflow and finally got the SSEi tips installed.

Here is only minutes after getting the muffler installed. It didn't have time to burn in yet but you kinda get the point. It sounds really sweet now.

I went with a regular magnaflow muffler off a camero, and used regular tailpipes to get it out the rear. It is single in and dual out. It cost about 140$ CAD or so for the muffler.

Well first off, you don't really wanna be bringing it up to 5 grand. But yeah it is a nice deep sound. Unless you hear it in person, clips just make anything sound crappy.

Cherry bombs are glasspacks. Very limited lifetime, and again, our experience with them isn't good on the sound question.
