Default 1990 bonnivelle security system / abs brakes

My 1990 SSE alarm light flashes when ever the car is not running. If I lock the door with the key then the light stays on all the time. It kills my battery in just a few days. Help

Also my abs does not seem right. If I hit the brakes hard, its like hitting a brick real hard no movement no brakes solid pedal. If i applie pressure gently at first then harder they are fine. Any idea'*?

Hellraiser....

Does your DIC misreport a door being ajar every so often?
If so it might be a problem with a lock/latch assembly in that door.

Bonnieboy23 was having some serious electrical issues with his. We tracked most of his problem down to a bad lock/latch assembly, and the fact that 2 of his doors, didn't have the proper courtesy light switches on them.

they look petty easy to work with..i took one of them out to see..its actually easier to work on the thing itself than it is to get get in out..It looks pretty bad...all rusted and the connectors corroded..Ill send one down to you merlin so u can have a look at it...
then maybe we can work with that.

Merlin thanks but no DIC misreports. However I was thinking also about door switchs as well as hood and trunk, the owners manual says to look at these switches. Also when I open my front doors the courtesy lights do not work, so your information seems to me to vailidate my thoughts also on the security system. I also have a rear door that doesnt want to open at times.
Merlin any thoughts on the anti lock barkes?
I did have my car towed awhile back, they bent my rear right inner and outer idler arms. Pontiac wanted $700.00 CAD for the parts. Got it at an auto wreckers near here for $6.00 but $75 for the 4 wheel alignment. That wasn't the problem as I had hoped it would be.
