Default battery cables

I just purchased both positive cables yesterday for my '89 due to unreliable connection, causing car to shut off while driving.
I got both cables from the Pontiac dealership where I work, and they are ACDelco. I too looked at the positive cable to the starter and said " what the??"
Do you still need measurements? I can get that for you, along with ACD numbers..
Let me know.

This thread is almost 20 years old. The OP is wayyyy long gone.
Also, there is a rule here not to reply to posts older than 6 months.
You would have seen this in the rules had you read them.

1989 and 1999 Bonnevilles are different platforms, and this thread was over 19 years old before it was revived today. Please do not post in threads that have no entries less than six months old. Please refer to https://www.gmforum.com/introduction...-first-304557/ for more details.

Your best bet for support on this would be to start a new thread in the Pontiac forum describing the issue you are having. If you need to reference this thread, here'* the link: https://www.gmforum.com/1987-1991-93...cables-219257/

I see options out there for you for under $30.00. Start a new thread in the Pontiac forum and we can get into it. Thanks!
