brake cylinder
I have a1991 pontiac bonnivile blew the passenger side wheel cylinder, i am having trouble with finding the right size wrench i need to get both the bolts that hold the thing on with and for the brake line itself, i need to get this fixed today. do i need to hike up to auto supply store to purchase a special tool? a 10mm barely fits but is just too big a 9 mm is too small a 3/8 too small 7 16th too big.

It is torx type bolts and for the brake line you will need a flair end wrench, or you will strip the fitting and have big problems. Be sure to soak everything in a penetrating oil PB blaster seems to be a favorite.

i give up, even though this car is not worth fixing i will be taking it in to have it done. must be standard flare the metric ones did not fit and the e sockets did not work either. thankfully the parts store took all the tools back.
