91 Bonneville SSE Stalling While Driving, ETC

Ive been having problems with my bonnie recently. I will be driving and my RPM will drop real low and it will either sputter and go back up or just stall. Sometimes it wont start back up, most of the time i have to drift in neutral then turn the key and get on the gas. It happened one time when i was going over a bridge going almost 60, lost power brakes and power steering, kind of unsafe.I've heard as many things from Ignition Module, to a Vacum Line, to the alternator or battery. If anybody has any info it would much appreciated. If its wat im thinking(Igniton Module) where is that located and is it a pain to change and how much do they go for at the junkyard usually? PLEASE HELP, THIS CRAP IS GETTNG OLD

If your losing power to things it sounds like you need to check your battery connections , grounds , alternator connections.Any corrosion at terminal or grounds etc.
Your ignition module is under your coil pack in front of alternator where your spark plug wires attach to, you probably have a magnavox .They can be had at a yard for 25 - 40 bucks module and coil pack.If this is your problem you may want to switch to a Delco coil pack, do a search under maganavox to Delco swap.

Thanks for the help, my service engine light is on which i forgot to mention. I just had a diagnostic test done, and it says my camshaft sensor has loss of signal, so which means its probaly bad. This could explain everything, not sure

that can cause for your car to run poorly and potentially stall, i would suggest replace it ;)

Again, thanks for the help. I talked to my friend who is a GM Technician and he says it is a b**ch to replace because it is right by the timing belt. So a 20 dollar part is gonna cost me an arm and a leg to replace.

Try the Padgett fix.
http://www.6007.us/ click on cars and then assorted fixes.

It can get costly to have it repaired...

Parts would be the lesser of $120 including the oil and filter...

You can also try Padgett's fix as listed above ;)

with my 90 Lesabre the battery terminals were old and corroded....the cars computer would restart in traffic, my driveway, and sometimes just be totally dead, I replaced my battery connections and it hasn't happened since.
