Transmission Oil Change
Hello,
I am going to change my AT Oil in a few days. Its no Problem to get the Dextron 3 Oil, but can anyone tell me, how much I will need (approx.), Because it is damn expensive.
If you could post the ammount in litres or Gallons would be great, because i found a Tutorial, and it had a unit like "quarts" - and i cant handle it - i Thought that "quarts" might be "Quarter Gallons", but i wasn't sure, so i asked!
Regards Norman

Yes one quart is is .25 of a gallon
You should need between 1.5 gallons and 1.75 gallons... Usually 1.5 gallons does the trick... But somtimes after driving it around a few minutes and rechecking you may find that you need a little more... So I always make sure I have the extra... The 1.75 gallons should be more then enough

Hello T-Keith,
Thats the well-illustrated step-by-step report i found a few weeks ago! It is just great, thanks for this! Hopefully all works out good - I have never done an Oil Change on an AT.
