'89 sse turn signal problem
I am blowing the 15 amp fuse for turn signals when I try to signal a right turn. Left turn - no problem. Is there a common problem with this or am I in the land of tracing down a short... I replaced the flasher under the dash...
Any thoughts would be appreciated....
Thanks

Turn signal short
Wellllll....................
$125.00 at local shop to track down short - it was in the line in the trunk. Happened because of water corrosion from a small leak I have into the trunk when it rains.
I've NEVER been able to figure out where the water gets in. Water drops down from the area above the front part of the deck hinge in right rear above the wheel well.
So I've attached a large plastic bag and hidden it behind the carpet lining...
Anyone else have this problem?
Thx,
Tom

You could get in the trunk with a flashlight while someone else closes it and sprays with a water hose. Maybe you'll see where it is leaking. Just make sure it is someone who will let you back out.
Come to think of it, isn't the antenna mounted in that area? Check the gasket on that.
