What is this Air Pump in the trunk deal??
Just started going through this car today and noticed the ON/OFF button that says "Air Pump". Now would that be an onboard air pump to inflate a spare? Or is what I think it is: The car has self-leveling rear suspension like the old Buicks?
Thanks guys,
Rob

There i go asking before I research. I figured it out! E-L-C! Y-A-Y!
Now my question is that air nozzle is to check and fill up the air shocks, Correct? What psi should that be set at?
thanks

No no no...LOL
What you have found is the inflater.... This is part of the ELC system and is used to pump up the tires and the like... when you hit the on button, the pump cycles on and the diverter solenoid changes the air path from the air shocks to the infaltor valve so you can pump up ties or basket balls or what have you... Its slow but it works..
And yes yes the car has the Y98 Ride control option( Load Level )
Does the car have the Inflater kit?

Nope, Don't have any of those to my knowledge. Maybe its in my spare tire compartment.
Don't even have an Owner'* Manual in the glove box :( I'll be seeing the former owner tonight to get the spare keys and see if he'* got that!

The pack is bigger than would fit with the spare, under the floor cover. Originally, they were set in the rear corner of the trunk and had velcro to keep them up against the side.
