1990 boneville sse Coolant Sensor Question
 

Does anyone know if the coolant sensor is going bad and shows no codes, what drive-ability issues would you experience?

The coolant temp sensor provides input to the fuel control system. What symptoms are you experiencing? Are the readings on your gage inconsistent with what you feel the engine operating temperature is. Is it showing high temps for a cool engine, or low temps for a hot engine?

Yes. the gauge says the car is cold but i have been driving the cat for over an hour and the gauge still reads cold.I also have been experiencing bad gas mileage...Have changed the following sensors IAC,TPS,O2, cam, crank the only one left is the air temperature one left.

Do you get heat from the HVAC system in the car? If not, your thermostat could be failed in the open state. If so, it could very well be your ECT. As I mentioned in my first response, a bad ECT could also affect engine operating conditions.
