just my luck... and someone else'*, too?
well, here'* the current state of me driver'* side rear taillight:
(yeah, i photoshopped the crack out of my sig )
So, I went to Standard Auto Wreckers, the big scrapyard in Toronto, on the east side. How many good-shape driver'* SSE tails did I find? Two. I must be really lucky.
One tail looks absolutely MINT, SHINY and VERY transparent plastic. But, it has a minor crack when you view it looking from the bottom up. It'* not major, and I reckon the crack is on the inside... it might even be only a scratch.
I ended up taking the not-so-transparent one, but crack/scratch-free. $25.
As for the other tail, it'* currently sitting in the trunk of a gray 1988 SSE, one of at least two gray SSE'* in the yard. Plus another 2 or 3 SSE'*, and plenty other H-body cars. Anyone need the left side in the Toronto area?

If you need one, go. FAST. I also got a couple for-spare MAF sensors, not sure if they're good or not. We'll see. It'* a pick-your-part, so I don't think you'll be able to call ahead and reserve stuff.

Hey can you go grab that light from the yard and I can pick it up next time I am in town ( Usually every 2nd Monday of the month for meetings). I can pay you through paypal or whatever. Or even get it to Jim W since I usually go see him when in town. Also can you look for both drivers and pass headlight??? Mine are getting corroded inside and so the lights are not as bright as they should be even with Silverstars. I and Renée would greatly appreciated it. I wouldn't have to listen to her complain about the tail light, LOL. She is just as picky as I am, but ours it actually missing the corner.
PLEASE and THANK YOU

sorry m8, but i'll be quite busy in the next couple days (esp. tomorrow) - and there are many H-body owners who browse the yard. Paging Jim?!?! He'* probably your best bet right about now.
Every passenger-side SSE tail in the yard I saw was in horrible shape.
... sorry again I can't be of help :(
