Pics of new Cat
So some of you may remember the iceburg story...and I said that I would take some pics of the repair so with out further adue...
I know this does not look that great- but there was a crack that went all the way around the pipe and there was about an inch of metal holding on the top. the lower portion was slightly dented (hard to tell form the pic) due to the ice damage
The view going down. note the hose clamp holding the heat sheild- been like that for a while. nice to have the "rigging" gone now.
The rusted banged up remains
Comparison of exhaust rings, old on left, new on right
The new migged in place
mmmmmm
So in total, with full replacement, GM OEM and my friends labour $200. Knowing it was done right, and I got to help.....Priceless!

Hows this look?
My buddy- had actually asked me if the original one had the "kink" bend as the one he got for me was mandrel bent. Looks way better too.
