A few questions from a fairly new Bonneville owner
I have an 89 Bonneville SSE. I saw a topic some time ago about EGR valves and how to clean it and what to clean it with. I cant seem to find that post. First Question is, Is the EGR valve the mushroom looking thing under the hood by the master cylinder? and if so can someone tell me where that post is so I can clean it. Another Question....my brakes are very weak......and there is a leak somewhere...the guy I bought it from said there was some sort of control valve or something that is leaking....any ideas on what that is and what the cost would be for one? and if I get a used one if it can be rebuilt?
Any help would be great guys

Do a search on 'digital EGR' (search for all terms). You'll find the EGR cleaning that way. Lots of references on the subject.
For the brake leak, can you take a pic of the leak and component in question so we can identify it?

Im not really sure where its leaking...when I put fluid in it starts dripping out from behind the front drivers tire and only takes about 30 min while driving to empty the resevoir and the brake light then comes on. Very annoying.....and its a lil scary when it doesnt seem it will stop....

Yeah, I might be stating the obvious here, but I think that the logical thing to do would be to take off that wheel, have a buddy press the brake pedal, and try to pinpoint that leak. Might want to wear safety goggles, just to be safe. Anything that takes paint off a car can't do good things to your eyes... :?
