Good old whorage of some repair work. Update 5-13
The day started off well. 1337ssei swung by with his newly cleaned car, so I asked myself, why not just rip apart mine? Here are my two Bonnevilles sitting comfortably.
There was a beaten up battery hiding in the plant soil under the back seat.

Here we are removing the carpeting. Notice my water issue.
To lift the carpeting, we need to remove what'* left of the center console. This was done last year, but I've forgotten how to remove one thing...
How do you remove this?
My antenna cable, power antenna wires, and speaker wires all go through this "thing."
EXTREMELY PORNOGRAPHIC CONTENT!!!

The newly found water issue caused this in my brand new carpet:
I have apparently always had carpeting on my trunk lid. We just took it off today to work with the rear lights since they're not working at all, even with all new bulbs. Look at this amazing color!

The reflection is so cool that you can see the mess of Bonneville-intended things in the background in this picture. Cleaning up that mess will be disgusting.

Behind the back of my back seat, I found the number 48 written with a marker.

Here'* some wiring madness before I move on to more interesting things.

I'm going to try to make a custom rear deck for a different speaker setup. There'* very little depth perception in these pictures. The black stuff in the speaker holes is the bottom of my trunk.
My car started leaking water when I jacked it up!!!
I noticed my rear driver'* side tire was getting flat, so I took off the wheel until I could air up the tire. The air compressor is not accessible right now. Here are two pictures showing the 14" Buick steelie with a 195 75 14 tire on it. The car should probably never be driven with this on, but it does make me think "What if..." Skinnies?

Air filter!
Dirt fell out when I started taking off the driver'* side fender.

And now... to the labor!
Filthy hand pictures.

That'* about it for today. I'd love to show some more stuff, but the cell phone camera just can't focus! I've got a few things to work on with my car to get it where I'd like to be before the summer meets. Here'* a list of stuff I want to accomplish:
• Find the freaking wire that'* grounding out but shouldn't be. It'* either in the cabin or by the driver'* side headlight.
• Re-run RCA cables for all the amps.
• Re-run power lines for all the amps and various other items.
• New rear speaker deck should come in to move my speakers a newly decided 90º, not 45º as I had originally planned. It will look probably more sophisticated without noticeably angled speakers.
• Finish some interior work like the headliner, power seats, door panels, etc.
• Do a ton of engine and suspension work. This will intermingle with the other steps.
• Finally paint the car! It'* about time!

I should have clarified about the fenders. Whoops. There are a couple posts here by me in the electronics section about some issues I've been having, and I needed to get to all the wires causing these problems. The driver'* side fender hits the driver'* side front door'* panel, when it'* there, and the passenger side'* fender doesn't fit quite right. This is taking care of quite a few birds with one giant, fender removing stone.
I can start the car right now and drive it anywhere, but the tail lights are practically illegal. The tail lights on the body run at 6V, and the tail lights on the trunk lid don't work at all. This makes for a very illegal braking system. Until I can trace all the wires and figure out where the short is / shorts are, I can't drive my 94.

...you've got a nice running car, why not bandage up the SSEi , clean it, and sell her off..?
IMO it'd be pointless to have two cars sitting around.. but that'* just me :P

Well, in reality I have 3 cars in my name, and I used to have about 4 or 5. My sister drives a 2001 Alero, my parents and I drive the 1999 Bonneville, and I try to drive the 1994 SSEi. We have a couple other cars - a 1992 Aerostar and a 1997 Sable - that let us all get around. If I were to live on my own with the two Bonnevilles, I'd use the 99 as the daily driver and the 94 to enjoy driving and all the features it has.
I used to think I could live without a HUD, an in-dash compass, and an in-dash car info display thingie. Not anymore!

I haven't given any picture updates at all. My sister took the newfound free digital camera, so I had nothing. I've been working on my car without whorage! I took off the front bumper today and wetsanded it. It looked horrible, but now it looks really shiny. I was about to give up on that cover, but now it'* so new and fresh!
I just got the camera back, which is sitting right next to me. I'm not letting go! The weather is expected to be awesome tomorrow in the low 70s, so expect more whorage! The car is actually doing nicely. I found that I had a coolant leak, so I replaced the housing gasket and sanded a bit. Seems to "work" so far, but I'll see when the engine starts running.
