(off-topic... slightly) har har, Delerium. I had to search high and low to download a copy of "Stopwatch Hearts", being the Metric (Emily Haines) fan that I am

ga93sle: No problems yet, but it rained pretty good last night so I will keep you posted. I wouldn't think there would be a problem, since they ARE intended for use outside the vehicle, but obviously your dad'* had some issues. Where is his mounted? Maybe it'* in a place where water collects?

Debbie: No prob, happy to help. Your XM will sound like a CD in no time! :P Oh, and I was quoted $50 by Future Shop to install that kit (plus the cost of the kit, of course), just so you have a ballpark/know what to expect.

dbeast: Guilty as charged, totally took your idea. But it was such a good one! :P Have you had any problems with leaking into your trunk? I don't imagine there would be since it'* such a small wire.

repinS: Don't quite get what you said, but I'm not a big Metric fan, too slow for me.

I've had Sirius radio since the Beginning of November. I am using the FM modulator that is built in and I do get static cause of it. I also have my antenna sitting on my dash. I figure it I go and install it outside, I will just get it stolen or something. It works fine for me on the dash, so that is where it stays, lol.

It'* my uncles, but all the same. His first one was right above his windshield and ran down under the weatherstripping, under the hood, and through the firewall. The new one we put on is right above his hatch (it'* a wagon), kinda under his spoiler, then it runs down through the top of the weatherstripping, after that it'* all inside the car. The only parts that can get wet now is the little antenae thing and about 2 inches of wire.

Well. I went out this morning, and the antenna was no longer stuck to the glass. It got down to -10 C or so last night, and it seems that plus the moisture did the adhesive pad in. So now it is sitting on my rear deck, and I haven't had any reception problems yet, so there it will remain.

Now at least it is safe from weather and vandalism.

I was going to suggest that but you already had it on the rear window.

Yeah, well the weather took care of that in a hurry. Damn Canadian winter.
