i only used half of that can altogether, I returned the other can before i started and bought the sand paper.
got 2 coats of clear on right now, going to go put another 2 on right now.
any idea how long after i do the last coat i should wait before I wet sand and buff it again? it says drys in an hour but I dont want to risk messing it up. if all else fails i can go that tomorrow.

Alright guys finished the last at of clear and they look amazing, I held them up to the sunlight and I get light to show through, they look amazingly professional so I think I've found a new hobby lol.
Going to wait a few hours for it to cure and I'll buff them either tonight or tomorrow, not sure yet. Here are some random pics.
Work space
Nite Shade and Krylon Crystal Clear
My trunk is a mess of tools and bolts of sorts right now.
car looks cool w/o lights
Sadly I had to cut part of the trim above there the license plate is because that screw was rusted in and stripped so when I put the lights back in I will sand that down with a dremmel and hope that its not too loose. it shouldnt be.

im glad ive inspired you to get going on this lol, Just wet sanded and buffed the outer lights and they look really sexy, they only have 3 layers of clear coat, the 2 middle ones have 6 because my first two layers were too light I think, they were the ones I started with so I was hesitant on going overboard. They still dont look shiny enough but buffing should fix that.
Heres the outers one is after wet sanding one is after buffing to show the difference.
Here is VHT/CLEAR COAT/WET SANDED
And here is VHT/CLEAR COAT/WET SANDED/MEGUIRES BUFFING COMPOUND
Yea I know the cut is nasty and im really upset it had to be done.. I'll be cleaning it up we didnt have a cutting wheel for the dremmel so we had to use snippers. I'm going to grind it down once I install the lights again.
When this is all done i'll post a video of the lights in action.
