Washington meets Florida
Lash came up to visit his daughter in Moses Lake, and to come see myself and chadow427.
Here'* a few pics, Shadd was the only one who had a bonnie, lol. I had my Explorer and Lash had his studly PT Cruiser he got to rent.
Group shot of the cars:
Left to Right: Shadd, me and Mike
Pleasure meeting you Mike!

Good to see you guys were able to meet up with Mike in his bada$$ PT (BTW, was the interior of the PT.....sorta blue....sorta green?)
*As for the the other comments in this post, when Tom and I met up for dinner, he definitely didn't look as happy to be driving his MV as I do when I get to drive mine *

Well, I finally found my way back to BC and then this thread...
That Bonneville street was one street behind the street my daughter lives on now, in Moses Lake, WA.
That POS Cruiser was my bane on that trip. I would have refused it at the AVis rental, but it was 2:30 am when we got it and didn't know what we'd gotten until we got into the parking garage. That thing had no power at all!! I had to keep it kicked down into 2nd, at 4500 rpm just to maintain speed in the mountains.
And John, ya bastid...lol, you stole my womansmidlifecrisiscar name...
BTW, that sorta car bugged me so much that I spent a good part of the 2.5 hour drive back to Seattle renaming it. Starting with the obvious, and going from there:
PT Loser
PT Barnum ( a sucker born every minute)
POS Cruiser
PT Snoozer
Part Time Cruiser
Pretty Tame Cruiser
PT Crasher
PT Crappy
etc..
There were more, but I was tired, so they are gems that are lost forever... :P
It was really great to meet John and Shadd. I wish it had been a week or so later, so that I could have cruised down to WCBF, but there will be other years for that, I guess.
I have a couple more pictures, but forgot the camera today.
