I wanted to do something this weekend that didn't involve being covered in dirt and grease from the neck down. So I did this:

LOL, well I did shine the tails today too, but you can't really tell. I hope they last. If I keep up on them they should for a while. I thought about painting them but I didn't want to spend so much time on them since I want different tips.

:( Yes my paint is 'two-tone' on the rear quarter panels. I took the pinstripes off since it looked worse with them on. Some pathetic paint shop did it (before JIM bought it) and they F'd it up big time. They could have done it right but they chose not to and half-assed it. Just something else I'll have to get fixed.

Only took me a little over an hour of hand-sanding.

Looking great Pete. the tips are a definate improvement from when I saw it .Leave it to "eagle eyes" to notice the two tone. Saving up for the pearlflake yet??

The two-tone is just too obvious. It'* sucks because I like the color (original). I will have to get it repainted. I haven't been able to save any money yet though. I still want the pearl white.
