i have never hit my car with CD2...you just have to clean it with every wash...it dosent take that much longer

Having seen Pat'* car first hand. Let me say..I like the CD2 shine that Bill has...it'* super nice, but Pat takes very good care to clean the motor. It shows.

You're missing a key point here bud.

I clean my engine maybe 2 or 3 times a year MAX. The CD2 keeps it from picking up road grime and dust. It creates a barrier the stuff won't stick to.

I'm using the detailer once every other month. Like Bill said, its doing a hell of a good job of keeping grime and crap from collecting on the engine. When I washed it off, the crap that did stick to the detail layer came off in a simple spray. No need for any scrubbing. $7.99 a bottle here. The initial time I used it, I sprayed about half a bottle. Now, its just a basic coat.

Hey didn't I give you what was left of mine at NEBF?

Lookin' awesome Bill. One question about the hood vents though...wouldn't alot of water get in there in a downpour?

Water isn't a problem. How much water gets on your motor in the way of road spray on the freeway in a downpour?

Now think about how little water would actually hit the vent grid in the rain. Very little. I have thoughts about flexible vinyl magnetic covers for the winter later, but so far, no problems (think of the magnetic door signs for businesses).
