Yes. The INTENSE tubing is far smoother, more gradual-bending, and isn't made of dryer duct/thin aluminum which is a VERY good heat transfer medium. In other words, that duct is bad news.

Typically, any hardware store intake, whether it be plastic or aluminum dryer duct, or ABS/PVC, has the potential to hurt performance more than help it.

Are we discussing the performance aspect of the mod, or the looks of it? Your Ride seems like an odd place to be discussing a FWI.

Yup I agree, this thread started as a "lookie here what I just did" and is turning into an Induction brainstorming session.......feel free to move if you think it warrants it!
