Tint

I went with 35% for the front and 20% for the rear. ANY front window tint in michigan is illegal but I haven't been hassled yet, and I hope that I never do either. It does look awesome though, I get a lot of compliments of how it looks on my car. It also keeps it a lot cooler in the summer. I don't have a problem with backing up though, 20% doesn't look too dark form inside the car like it does from outside..

I like really dark tint personally but know know better than to push it. My tint is 8%rear and %50 up front. Illinois law is nothing on the front but I figured 50 isn't really dark, especially next to a 8%window. So far no problems and have driven next to many cops and haven't been hasseled in the ssei.
I went to Zebart with lifetime warrenty against cracking,peeling/ fading. paid $239 I blieve, that'* average price around Chicago.
Now I used to get pulled over for my old tint on the Aurora 35% around loved how it looked though, damn state laws. Jim, get some tints on that diamond white aurora.

I hate it when they (tint shop) cuts around the third break light, take the 5 extra minutes and take it off and tint the whole window. Not an issue on +00'* the 3rd break light is on the trunk.
Keep the tint pictures coming
Jim, you feeling alright?

I think 20% is legal in NY, but not sure (anyone here know?). If it is I'll be going with that next summer. I got quoted $169-179 for all windows. I'll probably get hassled even if it is a legal %age I get, that'* just how cops are here most of the time. But I really think tint will improve the look of mine. Hopefully they will not go around the brake light, I'd like it all tinted.

20% is too much of a hindrance at night for these old eyes. Check my website for the look of going around the 3rd brake light. It looks ok. My tint page should have the best shot, or the Greenzilla pics.
