Oh, trust me. However, I gotta look at it two ways here...if it was me who had hit someones prized car, id feel ******* terrible...and I would hope for a good honest person not to screw me over, and I didnt. First thing I asked when i got to the scene, after i talked to my dad, was to the guy that hit me, i said, ****, you hit my car pretty hard, are you SURE you're okay???
I could of done lots, when it all boiled down to it, it was JUST a material possesion, not much I can do about that, no matter how important it was too me.
People make mistakes, he made a mistake, it happens, unfortuntely, it happend to me :?

This has really been pissing me off lately. Lots of people these days are being forced to sell their prized possesions and give up hobbys because the cost of living is so high. And don't even get me started on insurance companies. I'm sorry that society forced you're hand to do this Matt.

thanks for the search criteria that you PM'd me..... Now I know what happened.
Yeah, it sucks to have to go through something like this. One of these days I'll post my official introduction once I find the pictures of why I'm such a fan of the Bonneville. Long story short, my 98 SSEi saved my life. It sucked to lose that car, but without it, mine and my family'* lives would have been dramatically changed.
If I were you, I'd have waved goodbye to it being towed away, with the other arm around my Dad'* neck giving him a hug and appreciating what the car did for him.... another life saved by a Bonnie!!

Yea, insurance company screwed me over with my car. Accident wasn't my fault, and the car ran fine (didnt even shut off during the accident). I had to keep the car, at least so I could sell it to a BC member as a part car or a project car. I got to have a really nice last drive with it, from the body shop to my apartment. I still like to go out and let her warm up and hear her purr... :(
