Same here. Our family has a 1972 F-250 w/ a 390 V8. It'* a GREAT truck and it only has 40k miles. Then my sisters 1993 Ford Ranger is a gutless mother ( 4 banger) but very reliable with only 90k miles. Then my family also has the 1995 Ford Aerostar and we haven't had any problems with it except for the tranny (typical ford w/ the 4.0 V6). We even maxed out the towing rating at 5,000 lbs and it still took care of us after all 160k miles we currently have on it.
Sorry, I'll shut up now. Just kind of a ford man myself when it comes to trucks.

Hope you got some strong suspension on the Excursion! That would be cool for desert'* and open plains, but anything else and it would get stuck.
Yea, we also got a 93 F-150 4x4, with a 5.8L V8. 180k miles and still going strong.
