believe me ive tried...first of all it looks really bad and second of all it doesnt fit with the intake on

It will fit with the intake on, many 96-99 guys have that same thing, including me

Just got to play with it some,, cutting may be required

Before the filter was put on, i had to cut off a good 2-3 inches from the end so it would fit easily.

You have a different box on yours...mine has a huge overhang, and there is basically nothing protecting it except the top piece...its not fully enclosed, and the insulation is really the only thing protecting it from the heat....believe me i would do it if it were possible, but theres no point in doing it on my model year

his is a 97...on his the entire pcm is covered and on mine its just a cover that goes over the top
