Taking night pictures *NEED HELP!!* (56k...not too bad)
Ok, I didn't get finished detailing the Bonneville 'til dusk and wanted to take some pics but the best I could come up with was:
Anybody got any suggestions for taking better night pictures? I tried a lot of different settings on the camera and can't seem to get it right. Flash? No flash? I've seen a lot of really great night photos on the boards so I figured someone could help.
Thanks guys!

Depends on how advanced of settings your camera can handle. If you can get it to do slow shutter speeds at all, a tripod is a good investment - if you don't feel like spending the cash, finding a stable surface to set the camera on works as well. Hand-holding is too shaky and will only cause blur.

Rub it in why don't ya!!
haha j/k
Yeah, I guess my next investment will have to be a tripod. The camera is a Casio QV-R51 which is a pretty good camera, but I can't find anywhere to adjust the shutter speed so I guess I'll be breaking out the manual.
Thanks!
