Taking care of business
Been extra busy the last week or so trying to hunt down my KR issues and do some aesthetic improvements before the meet next weekend.
I got my Hogan performance 3" catalytic converter last week and had a local exhaust shop weld it in as opposed to clamping it on. It'* a nice unit if you don't want to deal with having the shop weld a flange on for you. So far i've noticed my exhaust tone is a bit louder and deeper, and i set a P0420 code about 2-3 times a week.
Changed my oil the other day: Mobil 1 10W-30, K&N HP-2001 filter.
Found a creepy crawler in the garage while laying on the floor on my back, these things have to be IN my house.
A pillar gauge pod. Got a set of spare pillars from Ed Morad and followed TommyGloves tutorial. I bought some SEM paint products offline and the morons sent me the texture coating without a nozzle so im waiting on a nozzle to finish this project so i can mount my Autometer Ultralite 2 fuel pressure gauge there
And then finally tonight i started painting my calipers. Instead of going out on a Friday night i stayed in the garage and got a nasty headrush from using a whole can of brake cleaner on each caliper.
Paint needs to sit for 2 hours then i can put the wheels back on, then i have to wait about 24 hours to drive it.

Got the wheels back on today. I think they turned out pretty good. I'm glad i didn't paint the whole caliper red though, i think it'* a little more subtle this way.

hahahaha, I like how the spider is the focus of this topic.
Well... I think it'* a wolf spider actually.
Realize that'* zoomed in at about 6x (because i was getting nowhere near that thing). You can tell it'* really zoomed in if you look at the texture of the dark blue tshirt next to him and the hammer dent behind it.

hahaha nope, just got lucky with the picture. Sony Cybershot DSC-S60 point and shoot. I did the fronts last night and just finished the rears after getting off work today at 3. I thought it would be alot harder but with the brush on kit and cleaning the hell out of the calipers it was pretty easy. Silver calipers would look good on your car, not sure if the red would look to christmas like or not.

No, really - that spider is hideous. If I ever find something like that in my garage, I'm moving out. Oh, man. It really takes my attention away from the caliper work, which is great btw. Sorry to bring this up again.
