yeah. that is my sisters 99 SSEi. I just finished polishing the drivers side and the rear. Still have to do the hood, front bumper, roof, and all of the passenger side of the car.
The caravan is actually the one Andrew wanted in the first place.... a 1990 Plymouth Voyager (stubby) with the 3.0L V6 and a 5-spd. Yes, this thing is comparable to a Series I SSEi. Very impressive for a minivan, but still not quite a 2.5 turbo with a 5-spd.
The Park Avenue'* are my parents -the white 2002 (with 2003-2005 grille) is mom'* daily driver, the tan 94 Park Avenue Ultra is dads new work car, and behind that his old work car.... 1990 Olds 98 Regency.
I have to say.... that Midnight Blue Metallic is intoxicating... The ride quality with all new FE2 struts is awesome, but the power..... :? it'* just not up to par for stock.... boost tops out at about 4 psi. If my cousin (97 GTP coupe with 195k miles) were to get into a accelleration battle the GTP would walk all over it. I know she runs premium unleaded (92 octane), and servicing is always done on time. Hell, I even disconnected the wheel speed sensors to see if that did anything and it didn't improve one bit. Can't break the tires loose going straight forward.... even with a little gravel on the pavement. :?
Oh well, at least she doesn't drive it like she stole it so the powerloss isn't so bad, but from a reliability stand point I told her to take it to Advanced Auto and have them hook up their scanner and take the car for a drive (guy there has a modded Regal GS and know'* what to watch for).
