Full Coverage Of Michigan'* Meet [56K: Brace For Impact]
Darrel and I were planning a meet for this weekend. For reasons outside of our control, the meet got ruined. However, Darrel and I were still able to meet together and do some activities.
First, I had suggested that we go to the GM Renaissance Center Tour. We had lots of fun there:
Now we decided to include this tour in our future meets. Because I do not want to "spoil" the surprise, I didn't post all the photos throughout the center. So this was just a tease.
We left GM Global Headquarters and grabbed some lunch. After that we headed to a local park for some photo opportunities:
At this point, we changed our location within the park. Even with the staring from the bypassers and constant attacks from mosquitoes, we managed to take some shots here:
This concludes the first part of the meet. We both went home. I ended up washing my sister'* Buick LeSabre and Darrel ran some other errands.
We decided to meet again in the evening to keep the opportunities open for anybody who still wanted to show up. But nobody did.
So we met at 8 o'clock at Darrel'* University Campus:
This is Darrel and his car reflecting off my car'* door:
Then we decided to head to my hometown (Troy) to take the remaining shots:
After the sunset I became a little upset: My car'* metallic color absorbs all the light and dissapears in the darkness. While Darrel'* car looks really hot in the dark:

Nice pics!! I especially liked the ones in the parking lot at night. I'm a little partial to your car though
