Awesome job guys....

NOW PRESENTING FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!

THE OFFICIAL NORTHEAST CHAPTER OF THE BONNEVILLE CLUB'* HOME DRINKING GAME!!!!!!!!

Here are the rules, get together with your friends/family/neighbors. Buy at least a 30 pack of your favorite beer (NEB'ers recommends Bud Lite, the beer of champions and motor swappers). Everybody sits around the computer in a huttle formation. Carefully review the pics above. Every time you spot Randman with a beer in hand or in close proximity (arms length will do) yell DING and chug your beer. Before the group moves to the next pic reload if necessary. Extra chugs can be done when spotting Barney in close proximity to a beer or hiding in the background and two extra chugs for every time you spot Toasted Oats doing a crazy stunt orchestrated by Randman....(hopefully holding a beer which equals an extra chug for the first rule.)

At the end of the pictures anyone anyone still coherent totals up the beers drank by each person and rules on the winner.... This is typically done by a girlfriend or wife that thinks the whole thing is immature and stupid.

Have fun kids!

Remember to always drink responsibly.... Not for persons 21 and under.

Very nice collage of pics outlining the swap.

So I noticed that the old engine and trani came out in one piece and then the new one separated the trani and then when installed the trani went in first.
Was the reason for removal together expedience or is it simply easier to install the trani first?
Would it be easier, if you had more time to remove the engine first and then pull the trani?
I'm not being critical, just wondering cause I've never done it before with this engine type.

Four pairs of hands make quick work of any job.

Noticed the only one not wear gloves was wearing a bandaid.

We'll get through that TJ. It doesn't sound like a big problem. Actually..it kinda sounds like "big brother driving too much" is the issue. Not sure though..lol

Ok.. here'* the rundown.
Pulling it a bit tight when leaving all the accessories on (except ps and ac). Most of the time this isn't how things are done, we had a whole one to go in though...so why take it apart? Being that the pull was tight, we decided upon advice from Mr. Bud Light that it appeared easier to drop them in seperately. It did allow for a little easier install, little more time. We had all weekend and it was only around 1 am of day one.

If you look close, you will see that when I'm standing in the engine bay with the trans.. I'm on about 5 quarts of trans fluid. LOL We wanted to flush it.

Procedure is
Have a beer waiting for buddies.
Have a beer when they get there
Pull an engine while drinking beer
Drop one in with more beer
Start car and go to junkyard..lol
