Went and got some more pics today:
The good news is that I got all my parts ready, waiting on a few and waiting on my rim to come from the junkyard, and she should be back on the road in about a week.
Final cost: $385..... Not to bad, but it looks like im going to finally need that new paintjob, from orig. issues, and now that the bumper slid on the pavement it has some carpet burns on it and up under the driver side rear door on the bottom you can see some white on the picture and when you feel it, it feels like it ate a little bit of it.

dang!
to all who wouldve hit the dog, for one there'* probably a little kid who found that dog the next day and that made her whole week and two depending on what speed you are going, the damage probably couldve been alot worse to the car. i wouldve swerved away from the dog if i was in that position.
glad everyone made it out okay and $385 is not that much, the local auto shop wanted $1,000 for changing the inner tie-rod ends and stabilizer links on the sebring..

I agree with you that is was very nice that he did not hit the dog. However, what if his accident was worse and he swerved into oncoming traffic and killed himself and others in the process? Two sides to every story.
I hit a dog on the way to school once cause it ran out in front of me at the last second. I stopped an the dog seemed alright. I tried to read his tag and he wouldn't let me near him. I started knocking on doors trying to find the house. No one knew so I left since he seemed okay. I was even late for school over it an was so upset I called home to my wife about it.
So, yeah, no one wants to hit a dog, but...

Yeah hitting the dog could have caused alot more damage, like loosing control and hitting other cars or a pole so its probably a good thing that you swerved to miss it, even though hitting the dog sounds tempting.......

wow, glad you are all right. you seem to have gotten a decent hook up on parts
i personally probably wouldve slammed on the brakes as much as i could and just hit the dog. woulda been a bumper maybe a hood, depending on the size of the dog.

I don't think swerving for any animal smaller than a deer is a good idea. In most cases swerving is either going into on coming traffic or off the road.

OK went and washed her up this morning and got some pictures of her.
OK ON THIS ONE LOOK AT THE AREAS WHERE THERE IS RED CIRCLES, THESE ARE THE AREAS I HAVE TO DO WORK ON NOW. UNDER THE BACK DRIVERSIDE DOOR, IS WHERE SHE DRUG ON THE STREET A LITTLE, BEHIND THE WHEEL IS WHERE THE BUMPER BUSTED LOOSE AND DRUG ON THE STREET, AND RIGHT ABOVE THE BUMPER YOU CAN SEE THE WHITE AREA, THIS IS BECAUSE WHEN THE WHEEL BOKE OFF IT SLAMED INTO MY FENDER WELL AND BENT THE MOUNTING AREA FOR THE BUMPER SO I HAD TO DO SOME TEMP SCREW ONS TO KEEP THE BUMPER ON.
