John, run to Wal-Mart or Autozone and or Advance/Discount and get a set of torx sockets for the 3/8'* drive.... With a ratchet you should be able to get those torx bolts out...lol

Well, my bodyshop skills have ran dry. I had to adjust the fender so the drivers side door would open It'* not bad but it dosen't seem to fit perfectly. The gap at the hood line seems a bit wide, so I might have the shop play with it a bit. The fender must have came off an SE because the ground effects (how dare I say that) dosen't fit the fender without drilling another hole.
This is bugging me. I can't get it to line up perfectly. maybe another thing the shop could mess with:
Oh so getto looking:
I like this side better:

wow this process looks WAYYY too familiar.
I jsut did that on mine... i wish i had posted earlier... you shoulda painted the inside of the fender (in teh door jam) befor you put it on cause most likely the shop wont do that. But it wont be too big of a deal.
Nice install Those fenders are kinduva pain arent they?!
----
If anyone else needs a fender type in your criteria in usedpartslive.com.
You just have to call the numbers in the emails they send you.
I got a white fender (cause i didnt wanna have to paint the inside) for $100 shipped from NC to KY

I got a green fender first... broke it on the last bolt getting it off... move to try a black one cause the guy I sold my black one to had a white one on it and I was going to trade... torx and the inner fender screws stripping got me there... then got a blue one... month later I found a white one and bought it and thought I was home free... well, it was one shade off... looks alright, but I am having the same issue as you with the alignment. I haven't tried to correct mine yet though. I don't think I had to drill to add my trim, although my mechanic put it on for free so I am not sure.
love the ghetto look... it'* the opposite of my old one
