This is the car that won't die. My wife thinks it may be possessed. I'm thinking of naming it Christine.

Nice. I like the name. If you wife ever calls for young priest and an old priest for a visit...she'* planning on exorcising the car.

I'm with Dan...more photos...engine bay, interior, etc. Before the exorcism happens!

I'll, try to get more pics posted. I just painted it Autozone black. The interior may need a little work.

The 89 GM FWD'* were a good year if you didnt live in a rust zone (salt) and didnt treat the tranny like a 1/4 miler. Yours is aging nicely.

Hey Ed;

Please add your year and trim of your vehicle to your signature line. That way when you start asking questions in other areas of the forum, we all have a better idea on how to assist you. Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

Then post them pictures please!

Sorry, I forgot to add that this is an '89 SSE Bonneville. It was originally gold but I painted it black. The taillights were cracked and fogged and basically shot, I found some used '88 LE tail lights. I also replaced the motorized antenna with a replacement rubber unit and added a nicer stereo. Otherwise she is original. I do have a problem with the headliner sagging. I pinned it up with some drywall screw in anchors temporarily. I plan on addressing the headliner problem soon. I read somewhere here on the forum the best approach may be to take the fabric and the foam out, the fiberglass the foam and glue in a new headliner fabric or just paint the foam. Has anyone done this or have any other suggestions?

Wow!! That looks identicle to the SSE my folks had years ago. Same color wheels, etc. Ours had gray interior. Seems to me it had close to 300,000kms on it before we sold it. It was super reliable. Nice dude!

Smoke the tails, headligts, and put some 5% tint on it. Murder it out!
