Quick pic & video(*)
Haven't posted in a while. I put on some new meats early in the year due to having bad luck with some crap falling off this idiot'* junk truck I've got some Nexxen 235/55R17 which are wider then my previous Perelli'* and have a rubber lip that acts as decent curb guard for my wheels.
And here'* a video of me revving up my girl a few times in the nice weather.

Thanks. Yeah, its a Hooker Aerochamber I installed about 6mo. ago along with a Magnaflow dual tip. My next upgrade will likely be a high flow cat, but I'll probably have a shop install that as my welding skills suck in tight areas. But first, I've got to fix a rust spot on the door that I tried to fix before the winter and has since chipped off. Oh well, I'll probably have my buddy'* shop do that right.

Here are a few vids from inside the car. Taking her to 5500rpm is addicting- I gotta do it dozens of times a day Too bad it was raining out, I was getting no traction which kinda ruins the feeling- gotta feel the g'* too.

Well, my first head unit was hooked up using a GMOS-05. But when my car got burglarized last fall, that got stolen with the stereo. So now I'm running with no crazy expensive adapter and would never go back. I sure as hell don't miss door chimes. Plus, all my speakers are amped so I only had to wire up a ground, 12v constant, power & illumination. The only tough part was the power- since there is no standard ignition wire in the factory stereo harness. I instead tapped into the cigarette plug that is timed off 10mins after the car is shut off. This way I can still listen to music after turning off the car, and it forces me to pop off the faceplate before I exit the car to shut off the music and prevent future thefts. This head unit is a Kenwood Excelon x891 that accepts usb mass storage devices so I plug in one of either a few 8gb flash drives or 100gb hard drive, depending on what I want for music. It navigates through files & folders pretty easily, so 100gb of music is manageable.
