Last night I picked Bonnesaurus up from the garage, so I was pretty excited!

It had the fuel sender replaced, and while I was at it, they installed a Walbro high flow fuel pump I bought from E-Bay. Also a new fuel filter was installed, and they changed out the air valves in the tires (don't buy the fancy chrome caps. They weld themselves to the air valves, and make life interesting when it'* time for air)

Before winter it was hit pretty hard in the rear end resulting in this:


So, the nice weather finally came around and I also discovered the rear bumper shock was compressed pretty bad. I managed to grab not only a bumper cover from my parts car, but also a bumper shock:


So after picking it up from the garage late last night, I took it to the car wash for a well deserve scrub, and finished up today with a quick wax. Here it is!

The Jeep was great to us over the winter, and I'm sure I'll drive it quite a bit this summer too, but I missed that */C whine so BADLY!

You might have noticed the passenger wiper has the original cover thingy on it, and the drivers doesn't. I just came in from reinstalling the drivers side one. Sweet!
I also swapped out the headlight from the parts car, so I have the cool Pontiac decal! I'm debating whether or not to use the woodgrain gauge surround. On the short list of things to do, I'm hoping to get the a/c working, and I need to make some small repairs to the bumper cover. (This is the 2nd rear bumper cover I've installed on this car! I'm a pro at it now!) Some overall touchups, and I'm good to go!

Thanks for the compliments! It'* really running nice now (touch wood) with that new fuel pump. I used to get a bit of a bog on take off, but not anymore!
