Since Everyone else is buying new cars lately.
I hate doing loans but it should be short-lived.
I met up with stoffrld in Boise to check out his 01 for sale. Already priced decently I figured it would be worth a look.
Tons better than the last 00 I had, Seats still suck, and it runs on 5 cylinders, and has 120PSI etc...but most of the issues should be fixed by tomorrow with a good tuneup.
Here is a teaser.
not bad for 117k eh?
Again, a good fixer-upper project. The top end may get ripped apart tomorrow.
It is from michigan and has some rust underneath, but the hood has been repainted already so the bubbling is not there.
stoffrld, who does not post much on here, is easily the most honest person I have ever bought a car from. Probably the reason why I bought it from him.
Stay tuned for better pics after I get all the bugs and crap off.
I know own EVERY SSEi in Idaho. I'm dont know any other members here that live in the state that have one.

The 93 should be gone within the week. Or if I can find someone that wants the 98 with the nice trans....
I need to actually own the car first to think about mods. Once I get it paid off then we will talk about that. I'll probably swap out the goodies from the 98 soon.
I'll just say it was too cheap to pass up (for the condition)

This would make my 6th bonneville I've owned or my 5th SSEi. Its funny I've never bought a "perfect" ssei without a lot of problems. I guess I like inexpensive problematic cars and learning how to fix them or at least trying to learn how to fix them.
the 01 runs perfect now. 2 bad plug wires, and it had bosch platinum plugs. What huge difference. I just need to pulll a seatbelt off the 01 bonnie at the JY. This thing has 0 highway vibrations and the suspension is perfect. Only downside is the surface rust and corrosion since it was in michigan for the first 4 years or so. It has some issues on the front bumper from being driven in Idaho (rock chips) but other than that it is fine.
This is truely the nicest SSEi I have ever been in besides Pauls (2000silverbullet). I dont feel so bad about getting rid of my others.
