Well, I'm taking 'er back.
That tranny clunk into reverse has gotten awfully bad, so, its goin in for a checkup. Its got a great powertrain warranty, so, a new transmission would be grand!

Oh they will. They also want to stiff me on my 5000 km 3 month unconditional driver satisfaction warranty. The original listing mileage was 79 500 or so kms, but when I took ownership it had 82 7XX (which leads me to believe it was used as a daily driver for the used car management or staff). I was told my warranty was good to 84 500kms (I'm at 83 403 exactly right now). They'll fix that, and fix my transmission.
I haven't even reached a scheduled bi-weekly payment yet
Not to pleased with my GTP right now due to this.

Bad mounts, leaking transcooler line, covered under warranty. But seeing how I'm about to break 85 000kms, I opted for the full trans service, drop the cover, filter and fluid.

At least the problem made itself manifest now instead of 20km down the road.
Just give it a wash before you kiss it.

They wash it for me!
Got it back and no more bangs into reverse, looks like the mount did the trick. I'm glad I took the opportunity to get the transmission service done. I asked about metal filings, and I was told it was very very minimal.
Silver lining....now, onto the Aurora...I miss that car, even though I check on it everyday and start it up for a while every other day.
