Default Rain-X wax... high quality stuff!!

After negelecting to wash this vehicle for almost 3 months now... I decided now was the time! Before work today I went and picked up some Meguires scratch-x or whatever it'* called and tried to get all of the swirll marks out. Even though I did not get them all out the difference is still great. Then I applied one coat of Rain-x wax... this is by far the easiest off wax I have EVER used. Here are some pics after I got done...

SUV looks good btw....
What did you use on the tires?
... and when does the Bonnie get the RX treatment?

I personally prefer the Meguires NXT treatment for the bonneville... the explorer does not respond well to other types of wax... tried turtle wax, meguires, and one other... all of them looked really streaky when you wipe them away. Plus, the Rain-X wax really is good for black cars because it cures white. For the tires, I used Westley'* tire bleach for the white lettering and black magic'* Tire Wet Foam for the shine.

Looks good, like that Explorer also. 99'? I used Turtle wax on a 96 Explorer and worked great, but our 98 does not like it at all. Leaves like a haze look that is aweful! The meguirs is allright, but works better on the Bonne. Then again,it seems like Ford'* paint lasts longer then GM'*. At least from personal experience.
