Default After Claying

BonnieBoiMN, Just wanted to say thanks for suggesting the use of a claybar. Did mine yesterday and it sure does work. I was impressed how it made the paint glass smooth to the touch. Not in bad shape for a 92 SE.

WOW, looks nice. I just picked up a bar myself. Thought I'd give it a try since everyone else was having good luck with it.

Okay this is a stupid experience. Over the 4th of July weekend I wanted to wax my car, but since everyone had good stories of claying their cars I decided to try this instead. I went to every store in town and not one had a clay bar or clay bar kit! Those stores include: Wal-Mart, Target, Napa, Bumper to Bumper, Carquest, Champion, and 3 independent auto stores. Instead I just got some Meguiars paste.

I would have, but I couldnt justify driving 1 1/2 hrs up to the Twin Cities area to get it.

I dunno Seth, after that wash you got up here, claying doesn't look like much of a difference. :?

I'm not totally sold on the clay yet
