Then you better get a good explaination out of the installer as well as a good bit of a refund.
I wouldnt call it BS, I'd call it fraud.

Honestly, I'd respect you more if you just said you made it all up to try to get an initial positive reaction from the forum than if you continue to try and pawn this off as somebody elses fault.

Either you made it up in which case we all move on or your naive enough to let somebody work on your car and do stuff to it you know nothing about, especially something as important as PCM programming.

Custom cams don't necessarily require a custom PCM, I have a custom cam with only a factory 'stamped' Jet Stage 2 chip...On that, no Jet does not make a chip for the '94. Nor have they ever made one. Another member has done all the necessary research on that one. Not only that but for a '93, like I said, its not a chip its a module. The chip plugs into it, and it plugs into your PCM..yes its a tight fit. I can't see how this could be altered. Even if you could fit it into a programmer and read it it will only come up as a jarble of numbers and letters. You'll have no idea what you're changing unless you convinced Jet to tell you...and I doubt that'll happen. I'm no wiz on this stuff though...thoughts?

I think it looks great nice work and welcome to the club. I don't want to start anything, but at the beginning of this thread Newt does say it'* a SE. Hey Newt don't sweat the small stuff, once you get to know us we become like family.

Newt thoroughly edited his original post before it was seen.

Gameover, to answer your question, Jet doesn't make a chip for the 94 or 95. Never did, never will. Moot point. Newt and I are still trying to figure out what it is offline.

Yeah we're all usually really nice, I'm one of the mean ones though

I dunno, I hope you understand how things started from the beginning in our eyes. New guy and:

Its not an SSE
Its not a Jet chip
Its not a K&N filter (Not sure if you didn't realize this?)
Its got a cam you can't provide any details about...nothing.

When you come into a room full of people who know dang near everything about these cars making claims that are wild, you HAVE to expect this. If you got ripped off I'm sorry, maybe this is all news to you. If thats the case hopefully you get your money back.

Anyway I'll leave it be at that... Welcome to the club though, if you stick around I'm sure you'll see how we USUALLY are towards newbies
