TIME TO RESURRECT THE DEAD YOU OLD FARTS!!!!
Member Me???
Got a email from Mr. NiceGuy... and I want me some +'*!!!!
I gots me new pictars and upadates!!!!
Ol Red is still sitting, shes dirty, but it rained today Lots of work to get her back up, and hopefully some will commense once the GTP is paid off this Spring... finally!!! ugh...
KK news for those that didn't hear, at 83k on the GTP last winter... Boom Spun Cyl 1 & 2 main bearings... time for a new L67. and refinancing the loan that was almost paid off.
New (to me) engine with 88k and is still solid a year later done, got a nice intake setup, painted my calipers red, some under the hood braces red to match. Needs more go fast parts but that'* to come.
This summer was fun with my polishing the headlights back to clear to rid myself of haziness. That was an all day project but results were indeed well worth the elbow grease
Also replaced the Drivers Rear Window Regulator... another fun Saturday project.
Ordered in some new R1 Concepts Drilled/Slotted Rotors and pads to replace my old stockers... breaking almost 93k at this point, they were well out the door. And replace both wheel hubs because both were going out... stoopid GM crappy parts lol. My idea was to do this all on a Saturday, wouldn't you know it the hottest Saturday to hit Oklahoma, I started out early in the morning, by the time I realized my mistake on what day to partake in the adventure, I had the car torn to pieces... Must press on, wetting shirt and dealing with sun burns thru the day the finished product was phenomenal!!!
Finally, I must say this venture left me not so happy, but still satisfied. I gots me some MB Drifters 18x7.5s with tires for $200... Catch.... 1 is bent... The seller didn't mention this so it was a SUPRISE when I got one of the techs at the shop to balance them, prior to installation. With 4.5oz spread out he balanced it out, I installed and so far so good.... Next spring I'll take it off and have it sent off for repair, but for now Ima still rock it.
So I'm still alive and kicking, staying busy.
Just got a email and wanted to drop buy and say elo to the pplz
On to pics...btw if anyone wants detailed pics to my adventures I have them available BAHAHAHA
^^^ Proof the Bonnie is to the right of the GTP... she'* dirty but I love her dearly, shes part of the family
^^^ Notice the pretty rotors... I need to upgrade calipers and get some bigger discs, but they work very well regardless.
